The people who work at Fearfree, in our Auckland offices and on location around the world, are experts in their particular fields: travel, informational gathering, business policy, safety training.
Not only that, many of them have experience in hostile environments through time served in the military, private security teams and police forces.
Because of the sometimes delicate nature of our work, full profiles are not available, but let us introduce to you to the man at the top.
Craig Bidois, our Managing Director
Craig Bidois is New Zealand's most experienced and innovative Travel and Personal Security Risk Practitioner.
Qualified? With the best in the world
Craig is a graduate of the United Nations Staff College in Turin, Italy. He is one of a small number of international trainers to be formally certified to deliver safety courses at the executive level of the United Nations, and uses these skills to train and develop instructors of many organisations.
Award-winning work
Awarded the Iraq Reconstruction Medal by the British Government for his dedicated work under extreme conditions to help rebuild the Iraqi Security Forces, Craig concentrated on assessments of extreme risk locations, and training of personnel working in government venues and locations in Baghdad and Basra.
Experienced? Sure thing.
Craig brings over 25 years experience to FearFree, including an extensive background in the Middle East and Africa, as part of the United Nations Department of Peace Keeping Operations. Since 1997, Craig has trained over 15,000 people from all over the world in personal security, travel security and robbery survival.
He was based at the United Nations HQ in Khartoum, Sudan, where he was responsible for the security and safety training of United Nations Humanitarian staff being posted to North and Central African field locations.
Prior to his security risk management experience Craig was a sergeant in the NZ Police service.
And now?
Craig’s New Zealand experience includes managing safety and security operations for large international venues, Regional Loss Prevention Management for some of Australasia’s largest retailers, and also Specialist Safety and Security operations for some of New Zealand’s leading Organisations.
Craig is also a volunteer with the St John Ambulance service and is appointed as the District Manager for the Hauraki/Corromandel youth divisions for the area.
